Looking For A Mexican Food Restaurant In Atlanta Midtown

Take it from a native Atlanta habitant that has been here eight years, I love the restaurant scene here and convincing Mexican eats can be found in the right locale . I used to live in Sandy Springs and went to El Azteca at least once a week. It was a great spot place for lounging on the patio and meeting new friends . Having just a while ago moved to Midtown I knew I had to get my fix without having to drive outside of the perimeter.

El Azteca on Ponce is one of those hole in the wall places that makes it a specimen in the city of Atlanta. You get a great dinner in a relaxed medium without the insincerity that you find in a lot of other establishments in the area. The restaurant owner Bernie Eisenstein even stopped by the table and made sure we were well taken care of. The allotments are very gigantic and accurate Mexican fare will be served up at sizzling temperatures. Fajitas are brought in a red hot skillet with chicken, shrimp, and steak smothered in onions and peppers and the odor is enough to make a person’s mouth water. My waiter very was on the ball and the atmosphere oozes of relaxation. I never once felt like someone was trying to rush me from the table even though the whole place was packed. The balcony seating is perfect for a temperate day so you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the company of your roommates.
