Sardinia: a Natural Sport Ground

Sardinia is a natural sports ground, an incredible place where fresh pure air and thousand of paths lead the way to a trekking paradise of amazing places and deserts. A magnificent land, unspoilt by time and history, just as it was at the very beginning. Nonetheless many young and professional guides are happy to conduct tourists and visitors across remote places, allowing travellers appreciate the natural way of life and uniqueness of the island. For those who love horse riding, Sardinia features a long-term tradition in equestrian sports, with a characteristic racehorse known as the Anglo-Arabo-Sardo The winds that blow all the year round together with the sea (surely one of the most beautiful in the world), make Sardinia a fantastic place for water sports. Diving and snorkelling are very much appreciated due to the legendary diving sites. World sailing competitions as well as kite-surf and windsurf are programmed each year. In April and September and just a few Km from Arzachena it is possible to participate in one of the Polo national tournaments. Another bizarre appointment is the competition known as “Istrumpa” a typical local fight accepted and protect by the EU and recognised as part of the Celtic sports.
